#1 rhost file format?

hi,

I'm trying to connect from linux box to a PC running the
RSHD service on W2000 sp3.

I ve created a file in c:\winnt
called rhosts
I try to follow general rec. and Ive populated the file
with lines like
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx myuser

but I always got access denied...
of course if I'm trying to put
+ in the file all machines can connect.

+xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx myuser unfortunatly allows all machines
to connect as well and not only worksttion with ip
xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx with usernam myuser

could you please help me to setup this file in order to
allow only some workstation and some user to get
access.

Also once logged can we restrict end user to use only
some tool in a particular folder?
Like c:\mycommnands\
