As a point of note, the digitial signature dialog is safe and expected.
In order to distribute programs via webstart, all the files have to be digitally signed to "prove" that the files have not been tampered with.
We haven't paid the several hundred dollar fee to purchase an official digital signature so we use the free "test" signature. This is very common practice. The downside is that the dialog telling you it isn't an expensive signature pops up.
Next time it comes up you can click 'Always' and it won't bother you anymore :)

When i first start the program i get
"The applications digital signature is invalid. Do you want to run the application"
The after i hit yes and try to connect to a server i get
IO error. java.net.connectexception: connection timed out: connect.
Firewall was down. I had this working a few weeks ago. As far as i know the only think that changed was the server i was connection to.
