RPM Wizard is an easy-to-use installation tool for RPM packages. Release 0.7 is an important milestone for this project.

Following three development releases and over six months of development since the last major release, the RPM Wizard project is proud to announce the 0.7 release. This release is the first stable release to include the feature to install from a list of packages on the distribution CD:s. RPM Wizard is now fully internationalized and includes translations to French, German, Spanish, Russian, Dutch, Finnish and Swedish. A lot of bugs have been fixed in this release and RPM Wizard is now more stable than ever. RPM Wizard is an installation tool for RPM packages. With features such as automatic dependency handling, it aims to become the most easy-to-use RPM installation program.

This is the first release candidate of RPM Wizard 0.7. RPM Wizard is now fully translatable and includes translations to Swedish and Finnish. This release also fixes a lot of bugs.

RPM Wizard is an easy to use installation tool for RPM packages. Release 0.6.8 features a new installation method and a slightly new look.

You can now install packages from your distribution CDs by choosing the package name from a list, i.e. you don't have to know on which CD the package is, just pick the name from the list and you will be prompted for the appropriate CD. This release also fixes some bugs.... read more
