rpg.conf - Configuration file for rpg
rpg.conf is configuration file for rpg utility for readable password generation. If it doesn’t exists, then all parameters are set to it’s defaults. In fact, it is shell script setting environment variables, described bellow. All variables are set to it’s default values here.
These shell
variables are sourced by rpg script. You can redefine all of
them in the file /etc/rpg/rpg.local and ~/.config/rpg/rpgrc

/etc/rpg/rpg.conf
Main configuration file for system wide setting shell variables. Some of them override by command line options. In turn it sources the file /etc/rpg/rpg.local, where You can redefine all of them, leaving main config untouched.

Custom configuration file. Use it for local setting, overriding ones from main config.
~/.config/rpg/rpgrc
User config, override system settings.
