I wonder if it would be a problem to host that zip file here? I have sent an email to Jay Hansen from the IBM XML developement group asking the previous question.

Sorry for the wait Gerry, I know I am past my 1 week delivery date. Now that I know the zip file is still available from IBM that makes it a little easier. The following URL has a .zip file that contains all you should need to install the latest version including Scott Klements HTTP API and IFS code, and also IBM's parser. I am not posting it to this site yet because I am a little fuzzy on the licensing IBM has at the top of their programs and I don't want to get anybody in trouble, but yet want to help people out ASAP.
I have this code in production, but it still needs a little polishing.
We are on V4R5 here so I have to reverse engineer the /free code. Have just started on a project where the input/output is XML and time constraints mean your interface saves me so much time.
Thanks,
Gerry

No problem Gerry. If you want to be a pal, you could send it back to me once it is converted so I can host it for anybody else that might need it. I understand if your company wont let you submit the code back to me.
Just to say that I've re-engineered the code and everything works superbly!!!
And I'm very impressed at being able to pick up files across the internet using http_url_get. Picked up your example3.xml file so easily I was shocked.

Yeah, that is some good stuff. You can thank Scott Klement for those API's. You can see his other open source projects here: http://klement.dstorm.net/
Open source kicks butt!

The XML Interface for RPG is no longer available on the alphaWorkds site.
You need to order the LPO 5733-XT1 from IBM.
Commerical price is $250
Yeah, that just happened not too long ago.

No response from Jay Hansen, I have now sent an email to every address on the Alpha Works Contacts page. Hopefully I will get a response soon.
