Despite what was just typed above it's probably easier just to show you what it does.

The way Aria2redir is currently written you can put it in a directory and invoke it from Firefox with the Flashgot extension. One other benefit is you can also put it in the PATH then drop to the command line and invoke it that way also. This is even handier if you have your Download directory shared back to main computer.

In the future I might try my hand at writing a RPC client plugin for Firefox but <b>no promises</b>.

-Welcome to your wiki!
+You reached the RPC Redirection Clients Homepage.

-This is the default page, edit it as you see fit. To add a new page simply reference it within brackets, e.g.: [SamplePage].
+A Definition: RPC Redirection Client - Client software the redirects server instructions via Remote Procedure Calls (RPC) to a server.

-The wiki uses [Markdown](/p/rpcredirclients/wiki/markdown_syntax/) syntax.
+Why?
+Because need necessitates ingenuity. I just got my PogoPLUG P-21 a short while ago and it only cost me $20 on ebay! What's a plug? A plug is a ultra low power use computer. My P-21 has an arm duel core 700mhz processor and only consumes 5 Watts of energy, this is less then most light bulbs. Needless to say, I feel comfortable leaving it on all the time. While these computers are not the most powerful, they are still plenty useful. How? We are still discovering this. So what can they do? Run a torrent, house a BBS, host a low traffic web-server, download a podcast via schedule -> INDEFINITELY and without the need of a larger computer being on running up your energy bill.

+Aria2Redir - This my first attempt a writing a download redirection client. It written in Java because it's cross platform (and I've never written anything outside a college setting in Java before). Aria2Redir brand new so expect some errors. (Little FYI: I called the project "RPC Redirection Clients" because I feel like the code could be adapted to other servers which would be hosted here also.)
