    Hello.

When I press Ctrl+Shift+N (new terminal window), roxterm opens a new window of
the same size as current. Is there a way to force it to use default size in
    this case?

    Thanks!

I don't think there is. I just thought it seemed a good idea for new windows
to be the same size as their "parents", but perhaps it would make more sense
    to use the profile's size.

Or mabe made it configurable, I dunno ;)

Maybe it's just me but I used to other terminal emulators who always start
with a "clean state" when you open a new window. Sometimes I even use this
method to restore current terminal size - it starts in the same directory so
if it were just shell running the end effect is like resizing it back :)

Or maybe a shortcut to resize it back.

Some background. I run qemu emulators alot, and quite often I run them in
curses mode in a terminal (this way cut-n-paste and scrolling works in text
mode). But a guest system assumes standard text screen size, which is 80x25.
So any disagreement there and we've one or another issue displaying the guest
    screen.

Also, sometimes it's necessary to resise a terminal window just to see some
particular output - for example, try `iostat -dkx 5 sda' or something of this
sort. On my screen with my font size, I have to resize it to occupy almost
whole screen width to fit the lines. The resize is obviously temporary in this
case, and next time I run a new term I expect it to be of normal size.

And the most natural (I think) and quick way to open a new roxterm window is
    to hit Ctrl+Shift+N... :)

    Thanks!

It's OK, you can consider me sold on the idea, I just haven't got round to
    implementing it yet.

I did implement this idea some time ago but I forgot to post an update in the
    forum.
