Recently i've tried to make my own keyboard shortcuts in roxterm. The roxterm itself in debian repos is partially localized to russian language and default config does not work. The solution is to write a localized strings in config, e.g Edit/Копировать=<Control><Shift>c

I don't have much experience with internationalisation. Is it normal for applications to use the same shortcuts in all languages, or do they normally change to match the local language?

In the latter case I don't think I need to change anything. The localised settings for several languages should be able to live alongside each other in the same file. But if the shortcuts should be the same in all languages I should use the untranslated strings in the config file.

Normally all applications use the same shortcuts in all languages(except vimstyle apps).
