Right now, Wallpaper looks through its internal
directories for files to put as backdrop and just sends
that to ROX. If it finds an invalid file (e.g. a
directory or dead symlink), it will cheerfully send it
to ROX too. ROX will then croak and remove the
uncivilized backdrop, breaking the nice slide show that
was going on there. :)

One way to avoid that would be to make sure the paths
given by Wallpaper are regular files (not directories,
not dead symlinks, etc), and this is what the attached
patch provides.

I'd also like to see Wallpaper recurse into
directories, but I don't have time for that yet.
