I just want to tell some inconsistency in menus of rox. anyhow rox is a
great software and I use it happily instead of the other heavy desktops.
*) right click on a file/dir on the pinboard/panel gives you a different
as right click in a rox-filer window. OK delete has a different meaning in
pinboard but...e.g the right click menu for a file on the pinboard you
the text - should that not rename it (the same applies for app-dirs). we
ce can omit this option.
*) the focus in right click on the panel an pinboard are different. in
case the focus is always on rox-filer and on the pinboard one item below.
*) "sent to" and "customize" for menu on right click in rox-filer.
basically they do the same. Do we need the "sent to" menu label ?
*) if rox opens the SentTo/.xxx window the
app-dir drag into it should be linked (like on the pinboard) without the
*) Alternatively this could be merged into the set "run action". e.g.
"customize menu" gives you as under "run action" a similar window.
rename set run-action to default action (or something like that) and
this app could be the first icon above
the customize-label app list. So the user simply click on the file to
open it or
with right click she/he can select (with the default "set run action"
application icon !).
Other possibility; the last time used app for the mime-type x is the first
in the list ?
*) delete a file. the icon on the pinboard is not removed or the "?"
icon is updated just after mouse-over. also no refresh of icon on the
pinboard when changing the icon theme.
*) compatibility to gnome-icon names ?
*) shade impossible actions: e.g. Delete for write protected files, set
