Hello all: I trying to intall ROX, using zero-install system. When I follow instructions, I get the next relocation error with undefined symbol: $ cd /uri/0install/rox.sourceforge.net $ ./rox apps /uri/0install/rox.sourceforge.net/apps/ROX-Filer/latest/Linux-ix86/ROX-Filer: relocation error: /uri/0install/rox.sourceforge.net/apps/ROX-Filer/latest/Linux-ix86/ROX-Filer: undefined symbol: gdk_screen_get_default zero-install works OK (tested with "text.txt" and "ZeroProgress" from 0install installation guide) Useful information: .- O.S: Debian Linux stable (woody) with some packages from testing, neccesary to correctly install zero-install .- Since problem seems to be witk gtk, I post my GTK packages versions: -- # dpkg -l |grep gtk ii gftp-gtk 2.0.11-1 ii gsynaptic 0.20-1 ii gtk-sources 0.8 ii gtkhtml 1.0.2-1 ii gtklp 0.9f-1 ii libgnorbagtk0 1.4.1.4-3 ii libgtk-common 2.0.5-2 ii libgtk-imlib-p 0.7008-1.2 ii libgtk-perl 0.7008-1.2 ii libgtk1.2 1.2.10-11 ii libgtk1.2-comm 1.2.10-11 ii libgtk2.0-0 2.0.5-2 ii libgtk2.0-comm 2.0.5-2 ii libgtkhtml-dat 1.0.2-1 ii libgtkhtml2-0 2.0.0-3 ii libgtkhtml20 1.0.2-1 ii libgtkxmhtml1 1.4.1.4-3 ii nautilus2-gtkh 0.3.2-3 ii python-gtk 0.6.9-3 ii rep-gtk 0.15-3 ii rep-gtk-gnome 0.15-3 -- Thanks in advance. However, you can still run previous versions through Zero Install, eg: /uri/0install/rox.sourceforge.net/apps/ROX-Filer/ROX-Filer-2.1.3/AppRun Will run version 2.1.3, which I think is the last version to support GTK 2.0. I now build them from source and they work nicely. |
