Hi! I only started using ROX yesterday but it already looks like I've become an ex-KDE user. The sluggishness of Konqueror made me look for a new file manager and seeing as I'd be dumping konq I thought I may as well go the whole hog and drop KDE entirely. I was pleasantly surprised at how powerful ROX-filer is for its size. I'm now running Mandrake 2006 and I downloaded ROX from their contrib repos. I downloaded Tasklist-0.5 but it doesn't seem to work properly as, despite me choosing 'show windows from all deskops' (or whatever the option says), which it did initially, it now just shows a portion of the open windows. I read on the Tasklist page that it will only work properly with certain window managers. I presume that I'm running oroborox at the moment (not sure)- what window manager will support tasklist properly in its standard config? I was trying out different ROX panel apps yesterday and now I've got one stuck in there. I don't know what its called, what it is meant to do or how it works and I need to know how to get rid as it is taking up a lot of space as well as being useless. I could send a screenshot but basically it consists of three grey, rectangular buttons. By default each one of these buttons just displays '---' but bits of text appears in the button in place of the three dashes. I thought it might be a clipboard app but when I copy some text it doesn't appear in one of the buttons. What is this app and how do I rid of it? Thanks! dan __________________________________ Yahoo!
