How does this bit work?
+ import dbus
+ if not hasattr(dbus, 'service'):
+ import dbus_compat
+ setattr(dbus, 'service', dbus_compat)
Surely, if you run this on Python 2.3 the import will throw an exception
before getting to the second line. You have to import dbus_compat before
dbus to prevent the exception.
