Last Saturday I finally upgraded my home machine from Duron 600 to Athlon
1900MHz (not 1900+) (and much faster harddisk).
As I started switching to KDE3 few months ago the last thing to change was
desktop/file manager and now I'm running kdesktop with konqueror to do a
file management. It works much better then ROX-Filer for me. At work I
switched too (those thumbnails in tooltips are very useful in my work).
So as I don't use ROX-Filer now I will release rather only "rox" package
when there will be new release from "stable" branch.
Package "rox-filer-hrw" won't be updated (as I created it for my own use -
no AppDir support). The same will be with "rox-snapshot" package (which was
built in the same time as "rox-filer-hrw").
If someone want to take over packaging of development branch of ROX-Filer -
feel free, but it would be nice if that person will create stable package
I will unsubscribe from rox-users list and maybe someday also from
I learnt few things with ROX-Filer.. how to create Debian package with
custom patches, a little about GTK2 programming. It was a good time.

OK, thanks for your hard work packaging it!

Hopefully if we get Debs for zero-install, then we won't need to maintain
so many binary packages in future...
