OK, rox (ROX-Filer), ROX-Session and gui_utils (savebox, etc) are now on the sourceforge CVS server. Instructions can be found at: http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=7023 You can also browse the CVS tree from this page. Using CVS allows you to get the very latest version of the software (before it's released), which is very useful for anyone wanting to patch the code, or for people who just can't wait... It's also easier to create patch files from the CVS version; just modify the files as needed and do this in the 'rox' directory: $ cvs diff -c > my_patch Then send me the patch file. Compiling from the CVS version requires running autoconf in the 'src' directory to create 'configure'. Instructions are in the README. Warning: CVS versions may have bugs / half-implemented features / out-of-date documentation! <bait> The latest version has a strange log-scale size-bar display style... ;-) </bait> Enjoy, Thomas Leonard -- ta...@ec... 3rd year computer science The ROX desktop (free/GPL) : http://rox.sourceforge.net |
