You probably just need to click on Refresh so it checks them again
(although it would normally do that automatically). Each directory must
contain an executable file called AppRun with the same owner as the
directory. If so, ROX-Filer should show it properly...

Are these different to the RPMs on our website?

Hmmm, okay, I'll give it a try, then. Thanks, by now. :)

I'll check out the RPMs to see whether my packages differ or not. At least,
mine are simple, pure Slackware .tgz packages, for the sake of an easy
installation containing both the rox-base package and the rox filer itself
installed to /usr/local/ (yes, I know it's probably not pretty smart to put
packaged files to /usr/local, but we as the XFCEIP guys had quite a
discussion on where to place them, and that was the least dangerous place
to put them. :)) ). Actually, I was thinking about having a 'full featured'
rox package there with all the applications available (and put to
/usr/local/apps ), but that's where I actually saw the problems with app
dirs not being recognized by rox-filer... Hmm, only thing to mention about
those packages is probably that they're containing rox-base and rox-filer
from cvs. :)
