Yes, thanks for the report. Maybe fullscreen windows shouldn't be on top at all? Or else you can't see any other windows that pops up, not only the apps dialogues... and when you cycle windows the newly focused windows are not visible - and you don't know that they are focused. for example: you have two windows, you make one fullscreen, you press alt-tab, nothing happens, you try to un-fullscreen the window you're looking at so you press Ctrl-Alt-F: then the other window that was previosly unvisible pops up at fullscreen instead! Confusing and strange... EWMH says that fullscreen windows should be on top, but I'm not sure if I think it's a good idea. Another thing, should fullscreen honour the desktop margins so that the panel is accessible or not? I have disabled the use of WIN_LAYER_FULLSCREEN now, which means that new windows are drawed ontop of the fullscreen one (just lower it if you want), and it also means that you can cycle through the windows without having them unvisible under the fullscreened one... /Jonatan - [ http://kymatica.com ] |
