You closed bug reports 2925212 and 288990, with comments that it is "intentional behaviour".
I am the founder and lead developer of Puppy Linux, we have been using ROX-Filer for years as the main manager of files and the desktop. I and other Puppy developers have observed this bug.
We know this is a bug, and as the other person who reported the bug noticed, it is due to the version of GTK. GTK 2.16.x is ok, anything later has the bug.
How can you, as ROX-Filer developers, pass it off as "intentional"? That's incredible. It's a bug that makes ROX-Filer unusable.
I even posted a link that has a fix for it. Didn't you even bother to follow that link? -- my bug report 288990.
I have had a couple of emails from users of other distros who have applied our fix.
Please do not close this bug report. God, I first reported this bug in November 2009, and now, after all this time, you dismiss it? A bug that makes ROX-Filer unusable? IT IS NOT INTENTIONAL BEHAVIOUR. PLEASE FIX IT.
