Hello, I have installed Gentoo on my laptop (ThinkPad T61 if that helps.) but when I try to run ROX I get this:

ERROR from /use/lib64/rox/ROX-Filer/AppRun:
I cannot find an executable binary.
Trying to compile...

Then nothing. A few others seem to have had this bug but as far as I can tell they never fixed it. Any help will be greatly preheated.

AppRun is just a short shell script. Should be pretty easy to find out why it thinks the binary is missing.

(if you do want to compile from source, run with --compile)

Runig --compile tells me I don't have the source code. Do you know where to get it/where to put it?

      Also the content of AppRun:

      Oh thank you!

Just one thing, can you tell me where it should go?

guessing this will fix your problem
    https://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=464246

    patch ?ebuild? ?patch?
    ebuild ?ebuild? digest
    emerge
