Roverbot 0.5 is out! The major change to this version is the inclusion of the new loop-based error-handling system, which enables smarter and more automatic handling of protocol-specific and protocol-agnostic problems such as disconnects, kicks and timeouts.

Version 0.4 of the Roverbot chat bot framework has been released. This is the first publicly available version, and is the result of a few hours of effort.

With this release, the basic IRC and socket framework has been completed, and you are now able to build simple IRC bots in fewer than 20 lines of C++ code. Several example bots are included: an idling bot, an autovoice bot, and a simple channel management bot.... read more
