I think that was a bug in the 1.7.3 release
There will be a release to fix that.
To fix this yourself locate the rosegarden-lilypondview file
my copy is:
just ease the three lines near 269 that start with //
I think there may be a good copy in svn 1-7stable branch.
save and enjoy.

There already has been. I just didn't make any public noise about it, because
I just re-released 1.7.3. Highly irregular, but warranted in this case.
Though it turns out the error in the script doesn't actually break anything
anyway. It's harmless noise.
