Hi, can s/o please help a newbie:
I started using use RG 1.7.0 on Suse 11.0 with RT kernel; and I was amazed about the amount of features and functionality.
My old notebook and my digital piano have started a brand new liaison - pretty cool.
As a learning example for myself I tried to create rg files from my favorite piano pieces.
When I edit a segment in the notation editor, I seem to be unable to select the last note in a group of notes in the last bar of a segment - using the <shift> <right arrow>.
Not a major roadblock, of course, but I cannot copy & paste the phrase to other places.
[Upgraded to RG 1.7.2, same problem]
Bug or user error? If the latter, please advise
thanks a lot

Interesting. I can confirm this, but I've used and worked at Rosegarden for
six years, and before today, I never even knew you could select notes by
using shift + arrow keys. I've always used drag selections. There's no
problem drag selecting the last note in a segment.
This does look like a legitimate bug you might want to go file, but it's
anybody's guess when someone might fix it. As you might imagine, this isn't
likely to make it to the top of my own priority list anytime soon, if ever.
You might tempt Chris to look at it.
Good catch though. It's rare anybody teaches the teacher something.
Especially a newbie. :)
