Is this expect? Or possibly a fluxbox specific thing? I want to
start and stop RG from the transport and watch what happend in my soft
synth. However, when I use the transport it raises RG above my soft
synth so that I have to then pull up the soft synth again to see what's
happening. When this happens I miss the first few events in the soft synth.
Is there a way I can make the visibility of the transport and of the
main RG window be separate?
I'm currently placing the transport and RG on separate desktops to
get around this, but that causes other issues in terms of working, so I
thought I'd ask.

Must be fluxbox.
Start with qjackctl, RG and Transport on desktop 6, minimize RG. That takes
the Transport down with it, leaving just qjackctl. Now I use the taskbar
thingie to raise just Transport, and I can play with RG minimized while
looking at qjackctl.
I'm running KDE all the way, FWIW. Don't have fluxbox to test it, but I
