Dear all Rosegarden developers and users,
While I am still figuring out what's going on with my Kmix configuration and other
stuff, my sister has been testing with Rosegarden-4 ver 0.9 lately. However, we
found a new problem.
As some of you may know, I have written a mini-how-to for getting MIDI playback on
SB AWE/Live/Audigy under Mandrake Linux using Iwai's AWE MIDI player, which you can
Up to ver 0.8.5, Rosegarden-4 can co-exist with Tkmidi / drvmidi player together,
meaning while Rosegarden-4 is running, I can play the MIDI exported by it with
drvmidi. And they both can play _together_ , meaning I can listen to both RG & MIDI
streams together (kind of cool isn't it? =) ).
But with Rosegarden-4 0.9, I can't do that anymore.
When Rosegarden-4 is running, I can still run drvmidi/tkmidi to playback MIDI but no
sound can be heard at all.
So I wonder, what's the problem? Can we have this co-existence with other MIDI
playback program(s) back in the future version of Rosegarden-4? It will be nice that
I don't need to exit Rosegarden-4 just for running Tkmidi player to play some MIDI
