Ask and you receive. Fernando was kind enough to answer my request and
got RPM's built for Rosegarden 4.0.8 using KDE 3 yesterday. It's online. Any
PlanetCCRMA user need only type:
apt-get install rosegarden
to do an initial install. From then on
will keep the user up to date with whatever new version is online.
Note that for whatever reason Rosegarden did not build for Redhat 7.2,
and he didn't have time to try and figure out what was wrong with the
compile. I can pass along the failures if you're interested.
This should help your hard work get out to a few more people anyway.

Woo! Fantastic news, not least because it gives us a nice canned
response we can give to RedHat users (instead of saying "get a
better distribution" we can say "go and get PlanetCCRMA, or else
get a better distribution").
We'll have to stick that in the FAQ and download pages. Thanks
Mark, and our thanks to Fernando.
