When launching rosegarden on OS X, sometimes I get the "Project Packager
not available" complaint and at other times rosegarden starts without
any error messages.
I do have XML::Twig installed (easily verified by executing
$ perldoc XML::Twig or $ man XML::Twig).
What is interesting though is that when I get the "Project Packager"
error message, the option
File -> Preview with Lilypond can be used while in the case when there
is no such error message,
the "Preview with Lilypond" option is grayed out.
After clicking on "Preview with Lilypond", individual tracks from
Michael's "Lilypond Export Demo #2"
and "exercise_notation.rg" files are rendered perfectly by kghostview.
The score sheet can then be saved from within
kghostview as a postscript file.
I guess that XML::Twig is important to create and edit *.rg files. Is
this perl module in any way required for editing and
rendering scoresheets from lilypond?
