It's not old enough to matter anyway, I don't think. 3.3.0 is very recent
compared to what some other users are running.
Here's another thought. I'll bet you have a German keyboard, a German locale,
and are running in German. We've had some weird, though unrelated, locale
I wonder how that might play into this. It's in chord mode, obviously, even
though it gives no visual indication of such. I can't see how your keyboard
layout could possibly matter, but it's something to think about.
To recap for the devel list (to which I'm forwarding this), this user is
experiencing trouble with step recording in triplet mode.
He sets it to triplet mode, then step recording mode, and hits keys on the
MIDI keyboard. Rosegarden makes chords, even though the status bar does not
indicate that it is in chord mode.
I can't reproduce the behavior here.

FWIW, I did some more tests:
* I switched KDE to US/english, restarted it and
then Rosegarden - same error.
* I did the same but used WindowMaker instead of
KDE - same error.
* I logged in as a different user (WindowMaker)
and restarted everything - same error.
* SuSE-9.2 Linux distribution
* TiMidity++-2.13.2 (self compiled)
* Rosegarden-4-1.0 release (self compiled)
I also have, but don't use currently:
PS: Silvan, would you please forward this info to
the developpers list as I'm not subscribed to it - tnx
