Actually, there are a pile of'em online already, come to think of it.
Now that I've jogged my own memory, the "extra horizontal line" on the bottom
ruler is actually supposed to be there. What's missing is the gray
background for the bit with the ticks on it.
The *upper* ruler is missing the black line that should be there as well, and
both of them are missing the dark background.
I have a feel all the color-related problems have common solutions. I posted
something about it awhile back. Where did I post it? I can't find it. Oh
well, it's a matter of switching around old Qt3-compatibility code that isn't
working and rewriting things in Qt4 so they work, but my first forray into
doing that didn't actually work.
No. Apparently not, but an hour later I did take care of a lot of other
random business. Anyway, I have a vague idea what's going on with all of
that, and if I can't figure it out myself, I'll have to elaborate in a longer
and more detailed "help me" message.
(Speaking of which, the configuration page help me message about the
std::vector of SomeRosegardenInternalClass (RosegardenConfigurationPage?)
still has me stumped, and no input from anyone yet. I do want to fix the
configuration pages, and apply the lessons taught by Luis's code sample for
rewriting it in Qt4 so it looks nice again, but I'm stuck on all of that, so
I've been playing around with other projects while that help me message
continues to grow a layer of dust.)
