Sometimes when moving a segment I get a little blue tooltip looking thing with
the bar:beat:tick of the current point. I think I've seen this when using
the split tool too.
The behavior isn't consistent, and I can't figure out how to cause this
information to appear on demand. I'm wondering if this is WAD, and I just
don't get the design, or if the tooltip is not working correctly.
I'm having a bit of difficulty wielding the split tool precisely.
I *think* I'm seeing an overall GUI alignment problem too. Seems like things
are off by the number of pixels wide they happen to be. Playback pointer is
at 2:1:0 but it looks to be a smidgeon to the right of that. Segments loop
at a hard barline, but visually, they appear to be a little ahead of the mark
on the ruler. Consistently ahead of the mark on the ruler. I have a vague
idea I should read the bug database and find where this was reported six
Anyway, another utterly unproductive day. I'm not even trying to write until
maybe, *maybe* tonight. For now, I'm just working on this composition. It's
one of my best creations ever, and I know better than to let myself get
sidetracked before I finish it, lest it become yet another of myriad
undeveloped musical post it notes.
