I just made a first attempt on porting rosegarden to mac OS X, with QT 3
an KDE 3 from the fink distribution. It started promising, -the
configure script finished without errors. However, make failed on the

Hmm, I do not understand what these deps files are and where to find
Any suggestions to come over this problem ?

These are dependency files that automake uses - they should be generated
during the build process. I'd suggest that something fairly fundamental
is going wrong before you're even getting to the build and that configure
is probably lying to you somewhat.
However when it comes to Macs I've got zero development knowledge so YMMV.
