[Rosegarden-user] How to make a "loop" in the notation. From: Sigurd Stordal - 2002-10-29 14:14:07 ```Actually I'm not sure what you would call it, but what I want to do is I = have=20 a song where some of the choruses are different and some are the same. In standard notation you could use repetions and "number 1 number 2" boxe= s. How do I do this in rosegarden 4.08. Is it possible. If not it's a wish f= rom=20 me to implement it. Also Da Capo and Da Capo al fine and other incarnatio= ns=20 of Da Capo ould be reatly appretiated. --=20 Sigurd Stordal President of GOGS Experimental Petrologist ```

Do you mean you wish we implement it, or you wish to implement it yourself = ?=20 In the first case, please log a wish on sforge. Otherwise, yes, please, by= =20 all means go ahead. =2D-=20 Guillaume http://www.telegraph-road.org ```

All you can do is make repeating segments in the main segment view, which are not yet shown as repeats in the notation window, and which can't have variations. This is already quite a significant required feature for us (at least, it is for me). One difficulty is how best to make the appearance in score fit neatly with the appearance on the segment editor and the performance. Shouldn't be too hard to do tolerably well, but because of some potential complications this is a feature that's already seen a few other features push in front of it in the queue. Chris ```
