Hello, I use ubuntustudio-audio, which works nicly on my lenovo 3000 N1000 laptop. I have a strange problem with a rosegarden (1.5.1) exported midi-file. I have a choral midi file with 4 voices, and I changed the instruments to markup up the voices (for sporan, alt, tenor, bass) That was no problem, and I exported a midi file and with Kmid it semms to sound correctly (flute and piano). But when I listen it with timidity, I only hear the voice which I have marked up - flute - (and a convertion in .wav does the same, I like to burn a Audio-CD). . If I reimport the midi-file to rosegarden, the file seems to be o.k. all tracks visible and audible. IMHO timidity works correctly and rosegarden certainly does also. (I didn't find something special when exporting, nor hints in the internet and I was just looking at the rg FAQ's) Where can be my problem? many thanks for the hints in advance Patrick Ogay www.wprj.net/chor (documentation of ABC notation and collection of choral songs) |
