I've just compiled todays CVS- thank God I can open the editors OK now. I see the shortcut problem remains but more importantly I still can't get audio to work. I start JACK first with: jackd -d alsa -d hw -r 44100 I use the r switch as I'm not sure my card can handle the 48000 default. I then start RG, load a wav and 'Play preview' is still greyed. I noticed this though when I did my 'make -f Makefile.cvs': [root@localhost rosegarden]# make -f Makefile.cvs This Makefile is only for the CVS repository This will be deleted before making the distribution *** Creating acinclude.m4 *** Creating list of subdirectories *** Creating configure.in *** Creating aclocal.m4 *** Creating configure configure.in:44: warning: do not use m4_patsubst: use patsubst or m4_bpatsubst configure.in:269: warning: do not use m4_regexp: use regexp or m4_bregexp *** Creating config.h template *** Creating Makefile templates *** Postprocessing Makefile templates found program with no _SOURCES: @HAVE_ALSA_FALSE@@NO_SOUND_TRUE@am_libRosegardenSequencer_la found program with no _SOURCES: @HAVE_ALSA_TRUE@@NO_SOUND_TRUE@am_libRosegardenSequencer_la *** Creating date/time stamp *** Finished Don't forget to run ./configure If you haven't done so in a while, run ./configure --help ------------------ Can't help but think that NO_SOUND_TRUE bit is to blame here. So what am I doing wrong? dan __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Exclusive Video Premiere - Britney Spears http://launch.yahoo.com/promos/britneyspears/ |
