That seems the expected behavior to me, and it seems to work that way. I first activated triplet input mode, then put it in step recording mode, and hit notes. I got notes like you want in staff 4. No problem. I could not reproduce what you show in staff 3 without also putting it in Chord mode manually. Now, I notice that you do *not* have it in chord mode by the picture. Someone else reported similar troubles awhile back. Its acting like it was in chord mode even though the status bar indicated to the contrary. This looks like a bug to me, and I have no suggested workaround. What you are trying to accomplish in the fourth staff is what is supposed to happen, and what just happened here. KDE version maybe? I've got a recent one: Qt: 3.3.3 KDE: 3.3.2 Konqueror: 3.3.2 Weird problems like this can sometimes come down to library versions and whatnot. I'm running Debian Sid.
