OK, I've done that.  Now in the trunk, if you open a matrix on
multiple segments, they will appear all in one matrix window with one
of them "foregrounded" (coloured, and in front if events overlap) and
the others "backgrounded" (grey, and behind if events overlap).

There is no way to switch the current segment, as it stands at the moment.

What do you all think?

I found a couple of quick issues:
 - you cannot determine the selected segment, e.g., with the selection order of the segments
 - it is possible to drag'n-copy from the background segment a note to the foreground segment (is this intentious)
