I had a chance to look at the output.

AudioPluginManager::Enumerator::run() - done

It looks like it completed OK, but I remember a user who had one particular audio plugin that was doing something screwy in his environment. Removing that plugin got him going again. That doesn't seem to fit here, but it's a thought.

Then I noticed a lot of style stuff in the Qt calls leading up to the first Rosegarden call in that trace. Try turning the Thorn style off under Edit -> Settings -> General -> Behavior -> Presentation -> Use Thorn Style. Start Rosegarden again, and see if that cured it.

The style sheet is a really complicated, nested, multi-layered mess full of hacks and workarounds. It's not inconceivable that it might actually cause a crash for someone under the wrong circumstances, although no one has ever reported such a problem. (In spite of being a ridiculously crazy mess, the stupid thing actually works with few problems, generally.)

That's all I can come up with. Best of luck!
