#464 Audio VU meters while transport rolling

When preparing to make an audio recording of the drum track I just laid down, I realize I have no clue where to set the fader for the recording level. The only way to monitor the levels for this exact performance is to play the track. While the transport is rolling, the audio recording level VU meter goes dead.

Hrmmmm... That's not what I expected, and it's not useful in this situation.

I thought it used to do that, but 12.12 didn't do that either. I haven't done this in quite a few years, but I've recorded my Roland SC-33 into Rosegarden before. You'd think I would have noticed this back then.

Anyway, I'm just sharing a passing thought.
