I absolutely love Rosegarden. It is one of my favorite Linux DAWs. I love how it is more focused on notation than other DAWs and has a fun workflow.

It worked at the first shot: Ubuntu Studio 17.04, Sony Vaio, Yamaha P95, MIDI/USB cable. Thank you for your work. I'm helping my daughter to enter the digital sound realm.

Not working on Windows 10 (I have newest actual version). When I'm starting this program I get "Runtime Error. This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.". Compatibility mode with Windows 7 and 8 not works.

Help! I installed Rosegarden 14... onto my Lenovo Ideapad which I've upgraded to Windows 10. But whenever I try open the program I get a "runtime error" notice and then as soon as I click the notification closed, Windows then tells me it has to close the entire program. This has happened from the moment I installed it and first tried to use it. Help!!

I've been using Rosegarden for all my compositions for very many years, and it is *still* the easiest to understand and use of all sequencers. While checking out other software I had to comparatively test against all the ones I could find. None of the others even came within the same ball-park - for all their bells and whistles.
