    I am running OpenLDAP 2.1.x on a SuSE 8.1 system.

    First of all, thanks to phaaf for sharing his experience. This REALLY helped a lot...

    I have managed to get rolodap running, but I still
    have problems when trying to add a new user.
    I cannot do this as it says in a small popup
    "auth bind as rolodap password: secret" and then
    an error message.

    The logfile reads
    bind: invalid dn (rolodap)
    conn=59 op=0 RESULT tag=97 err=34 text=invalid DN

    How can I change this behaviour?

    thx

      Hi Silver,

      I've got the same configuration running, but I can't import the sample.ldif. Could you send me your modified sample.ldif to mailing@unity-concepts.de. Or any instructions how to modify it?

      Thx macsaver

      Please note that in the above (post) the changes
      to the rolodap.schema were made according to the suggestions of phaaf (see another thread in this discussion forum)
