#29 Useable Keyboard Controls and Better Graffiti Shortcuts

Please, this is about to make me cry...

I played the old Rogue that that Japanese guy made for
a long time and found it to be a great way to actually
HELP me pay attention in class (my fellow ADDers out
there, take note! :D). Unfortunately, my hard drive
crashed AND my palm pilot broke and I can't get a copy
of that old one anywhere.

Now, why would I want that old version of Rogue when
iRogue is so much better? Only one reason. THE
KEYBOARD. It's harder to pretend to be taking notes
AND it's much slower AND it requires more of my
attention (thereby lessening Rouge's effectiveness as an
ADD coping device) when I have to constantly switch
between stylus and keyboard. As awesome as iRogue is,
I seriously want to cry every time I have to press I then
pull out my stylus and tap commands to get a simple
potion quaffed. In fact, I really just can't play it. The
old Rogue just had you press, say, 'q' then the letter of
the item that you wanted to 'q'uaff. Same with all the
other commands. It was so quick and easy!

Having the arrow keys move your Rogue around would
be nice, too, but more than anything, I'd like to be able
to 'q'uaff a potion, 'r'ead a scroll, or we'a'r some armor
without picking up a pen or dirtying up my screen. I wish
I had the time and knowledge of Palm OS API to hack it
in myself, but alas. I'm begging you developers, please...
this would mean more to me than anything!
