Rocstar Multiphysics Application

Project goals

In this three-phase SBIR project, Illinois Rocstar will use freely available advanced computational infrastructure to modernize the Rocstar simulation application. The work will be conducted in an open project with immediate and continuous public customer exposure. The resulting simulation application will be released under a non-restrictive (i.e. BSD-like) open source license.

Phase I:

• Establish customer-facing development infrastructure
• Harden runtime systems
• Prepare for user interface enhancement

Phase II:

• Harden software infrastructure
• Enhance pre-processing user interface
• Develop runtime user interface
• Provide native support for standard analysis tools

Phase III:

• Deploy to customer sites
• Build community
• Add customer-driven capabilities
