Hello,
welcome to this newly formed rocket software developper group. The purpose of this group is to developp useful and advanced tool to help the design of all parts of rockets. There is of course a lot of things to do and I will propose to you a list of the things we must do to ensure that everything goes well.

First of all, we should know what we would like to code. What are the problems we want to solve, and what are the priority.

Secondo, divise the team between the different project or different part of the same project. It will depend on the knowledge and implication of everybody. 

We will also need to maintain a good web site and do some publicity to increase the number of interested people in the project. We have a lot of web space and disk space, it should be great to use it.

For the moment, the project of writing a software like 'propep' in C is started and the file could be download with cvs or anonymous ftp. There is also a flight simulator and some numerical method on the ftp. The simulator will only compile on Linux with the good library for the moments. ftp rocketworkbench.sourceforge.net/pub/rocketworkbench, or cvs
cvs -d:pserver:ano...@cv...:/cvsroot/rocketworkbench login
cvs -z3 -d:pserver:ano...@cv...:/cvsroot/rocketworkbench co modulename,

modulename is libnum, cpropep or libsimulation


If you have any problem getting those file, ask me. If you would like to begin write some code, send me the patch and I will eventually give developper access to the cvs when needed.
