[Rocketworkbench] Problems with the star grain analysis

I'm studying the star grain analysis but I couldn't solve some
difficulties:

The 'a angle' , wich is the angle of the radius r1, if calculated when
n>e by the equation a=Pi/2-n+e results in a negative value. Is it
correct?

I'm don't know how to calculate the lenght of the star "leg", is it
L-x+r2 considering wx=0? Is r2=r1?
