Hello Ray, I think the web site should contain the following sections: Goal Projects Source Code Mailing list Contacts Here is a proposition of text for those sections Goal ---- The Rocket Workbench Project have for mission to develop high quality software tools for the design of experimental rockets. We try to use the most up to date theory about rocket in order to get the most accurate results. The objective are portability between different platform and great flexibility. Projects ------- There is a lot of different aspect of the rocket that need software in order to facilitate design and analysis. Here is a list of the projects we are working on or planned to work on. Cpropep : Computation of complexe chemical equilibria of a perfect gas and pure condensed species in order to caracterize rocket performance. This software intend to be a replacement of propep with more flexibility. The documentation of propep could be see online at http://rocketworkbench.sourceforge.net/cpropep. There is also a web version online that let you try some feature http://rocketworkbench.sourceforge.net/equil.html there is also a frontend to the thermodynamic properties database http://rocketworkbench.sourceforge.net/properties.html Future project Flight simulator Heat transfer in rocket chamber Structural stress analysis of rocket chamber Grain analysis ... Source code ---------- The source code of all the software develop on the Rocket Workbench Project is release under the GPL and is free of charge. You could download the source code by ftp at ftp://rocketworkbench.sourceforge.net/pub/rocketworkbench or view the latest source on the cvs repository. You could browse the cvs online at http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/?cvsroot=rocketworkbench If you have cvs you could use the following command line argument to download the latest version. cvs -d:pserver:ano...@cv...:/cvsroot/rocketworkbench login cvs -z3 -d:pserver:ano...@cv...:/cvsroot/rocketworkbench co modulename where modulename is the name of a project like 'cpropep'. There will be binary distributions of the software as soon as the code is ready. Mailing list ------------ The discussions about development is done by the mailing list. You could get the information at http://mail1.sourceforge.net/mailman/listinfo/rocketworkbench-devel. Contacts -------- Project administrator: ant...@po... Webmaster: Could be the adress of Ray -------------------------------------------------------------- If you have any proposition or modification to do, please reply. I will try to find someone to do a logo that will look professional. Antoine On Mon, Apr 10, 2000 at 10:03:16AM -0700, Ray Calkins wrote: > Hi Antoine: > > My sincere apologies about the web page.
