Hello,
I have a Roccat Ryos MK Pro keyboard and PC under Kubuntu 16.04. The lates roccat-tools package is installed from PPA.
Can't assign a macro to a key using the tool.
Scenario:
1. Record a macro using the keyboard itself (Fn+Rec), not roccat-tools.
2. Check that the macro works - press the hotkey.
3. Open roccat-tools GUI and assign the recorded macro to any other hotkey.
4. Apply and save the configuration.
5. Check if the macro works on the assigned hotkey.
6. Open roccat-tools GUI and check the configuration.
Results:
1. The macro is recorded and assigned to a hotkey.
2. The macro is executed when the hotkey is pressed.
3. The recorded macro is available. It is assigned to a new hotkey (it also stays assigned to the old one).
4. Applied. Saved.
5. The macro is not executed when the new hotkey is pressed.
6. The assignment made in the step 3 is absent after the tool is opened. Seems, it is not saved at all.
Initially I tried to assign a shell script to a key and failed to do it - it was not saved too. Then I decided to check the macro (the scenario above) - I already have a working one (recorded some time ago using Fn+Rec), so it must work.
Seems, the only thing which I managed to apply via GUI is a keys light.
Please tell me which additional info (logs or commands output) do you need for investigation.

Do you have the most recent firmware version 1.26? Please update using a Windows machine.

Yes, the firmware version is 1.26.
I tried this with the M and easyshifted numeric keys and it works for me. Could you please specify which keys are involved and how your macro looks?
I try to use macro keys (M1-M5). The macro recorded via Fn+Rec is assigned to M1. The macro is very simple - it sends a sequence '1e2e3e'.
Just tried to assign the macro to easyshift+M using the tool - it works.
