I get the error below, which you said is a result of
the -col problem in a previous bug report, but it does
not seem to be to me.

I cannot get a start button to appear, and therefore,
no game can be started. Second players logging into
the server can see the map, the originator(me) cannot,
just a black window. Other buttons etc, are there, but
no start button, or map. The server status says
"Waiting for Start"

This error occurs after I hit the Engage button, and
spawns a blank error window.

bgerror failed to handle background error.
Original error: wrong # args: should be "switch
?switches? string {pattern body ... ?default body?}"
Error in bgerror: can't make ".__error__" its own master

Any help would be appreciated.
