RNA2Drawer / Blog: Recent posts

Recently, downloads of RNA2Drawer have set off some false alarms with Windows Security. This seems to be related to the tool PyInstaller, which was used to create the RNA2Drawer.exe executable file. PyInstaller has some history with false alarms (see Stack Overflow thread: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/43777106/program-made-with-pyinstaller-now-seen-as-a-trojan-horse-by-avg).

The previous version of RNA2Drawer (uploaded on 8/19/2019) was created with version 3.5 of PyInstaller. Recreating RNA2Drawer with version 3.4 of PyInstaller seems to remove the false alarms, and the recreated version of RNA2Drawer has been uploaded to this repository.
