I have no clue about how to get this to run.I have attached another snip to give you hopefully more information. I don't think it's trying to open it to the right thing. I have unloaded and reloaded Java so I don't get it. I've also unloaded and reloaded RMOffice. I'm sorry any help you can give me would be helpful. Thank you,Mark H. Mmmh, normally you should be able to just double click the jar file. If this is not working, perhaps you need to adjust the jar file extension: https://www.pixelstech.net/article/1463037958-Run-executable-jar-on-double-click-on-Windows Or under readme is a template for start-rmoffice.bat Copy it to the main folder. You need to adjust the path to "javaw.exe" binary (see readme.html)

Daniel, I tried to run it right after I downloaded it and I didn't realize I didn't have Java on the computer. Of course it didn't run. I then deleted it and downloaded the newest Java Runtime that I think I got a link from the information in the readme file. I then downloaded again and it continued to ask me what I wanted to open the file with. I found Java in the pull down menu and tried to run it which resulted in nothing happening.I appreciate your program as I'm a staunch user of it for many...

Thanks for feedback. I need some time to figure out that everything is still working with the new FileDialog. I recognized some sizing problems with high resolution monitor. But I'm working on it.

Can you please test the attached version? I have no Mac so I cannot test it. I replaced the file dialog by another one.

i've tried, all the folder are selected for Java, but it still doesn't show the subfolders for example under desktop. I have also tried to move the file .rmo on the desktop or in one of the main folders shown under "open character" windows. The file are not shown in the dialogue window.
