One small thing that has been bugging me is that the lines sometimes get covered up by the backgrounds. Your pages_across.php example does this on the 2nd page (first page is fine). Your parts.pdf example on your home page does this.....the line after the background (in the field header portion) is thicker than the part with the background - it is getting covered up by the background. I would suggest you have a math problem. Also...any chance of introducing the idea of a HTML like table structure? That would give me better control of the look of the page - for example, I want to be able to put vertical lines between columns - right now there is no way to do it. If I had a way of saying <this is the start of a cell value=data.name><verticalline size="1"></end of a cell value> then I could put anything I wanted inside that cell and align it the way I want. Specifically, I would like to be able to create a really nice looking invoice with both vertical and horizontal lines and images etc. You can already create vertical lines (sort of), by specifying a horizontalline with a size="100" and a length="1".
