You probably want to use output parameters

       pdfdir1 = g_hash_table_lookup(r->output_parameters,
"pdf_fontdir1");
        pdfdir2 = g_hash_table_lookup(r->output_parameters,
"pdf_fontdir2");
        pdfencoding = g_hash_table_lookup(r->output_parameters,
"pdf_encoding");
        pdffontname = g_hash_table_lookup(r->output_parameters,
"pdf_fontname");
